l  Basic Information

The Institute of Grain Industry Technology and Economics is mainly engaged in the research on national food security strategies and guarantee mechanisms, research on grain circulation, purchase and storage policies, research on grain emergency systems, the grain industry economic development theory, strategy and regional layout, and research on grain logistics strategies, paths and cost optimization, the grain industry economics, technical and economic planning consultation, etc. The institute provides a large number of decision-making consulting services to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, provincial development and reform commissions and food and reserves administrations at all levels all year round. In the past five years, it has completed and participated in more than 60 domestic and foreign research projects, with research funding of more than RMB 20 million, written more than 70 consulting research reports, and won more than 30 national, provincial and ministerial awards.
