The first green grain storage technology symposium was successfully heldby ASAG
In recent years, a series of achievements has been obtained by ASAG in the theoretical research and technology development of green ecological grain storage ASAG edited and published the research monograph named “New grain storage technology of green and low carbon”. The project of “Four in one new technology development and integration of innovative in grain storage" won the First prize in 2010 National Science and Technology Progress Award, Approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in May 2011 ASAG was supported to build a National Engineering Laboratory about grain storage and transportation. To demonstrate the latest scientific research in the grain storage industry, ASAG held the first green grain storage technology symposium during August 20th-22th 2012 in Beijing. 159 grain storage management and technical backbone from 12 southern provinces as Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Fujian, Zhejiang, Hubei, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Jiangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou and Chongqing etc attended the seminar. Du Zheng, the president of ASAG, spoke at the meeting, Li Fujun, the chief engineer of ASAG and director of the National Engineering Laboratory of grain storage and transportation, presided over the meeting.

The experts introduced nitrogen-rich and low-oxygen tune technology, mold detection and safety evaluation in grain storage, low temperature grain storage technology by cereal cold machine, new technologies of grain condition detection, pest detection technology in grain storage, pest and mildew prevention technology and safe production technology of grain enterprises etc. The workshop participants also focused discussion on some issues with common concerns as emergency reserves of processed grain, integrated management of pest and safety production of grain enterprises etc.

The delegates visited some R & D platforms such as the National Engineering Laboratory of grain storage and transportation, grain testing instruments and grain cooler located in xiaotangshan pilot base.
